Slowly, start by owning one dog. Have this be the no. 1 breed you want to own. The more you become experienced, the more you can own at a time. Continue owning the breeds from your most prefered to least. Remember though that having a dog isn't about records or bets or collecting. Having a dog is taking a life into your hands. It is also easy to become very attached to a pet and be prepared when the pet reaches a maximum age.
