My friend just asked out the girl I like, HELP!?

I was texting the girl I like, and was about to ask her if she wanted to go mini golfing with me (Where I was planing to ask her out). She then said she couldn't, because she was going to be with one of her other friends. about 2 hours later, she texts me saying xxxx just asked me out! He was also the one who was going to be hanging out with her. Most of you would say to look for somebody else, but I am in a school/town filled with sluts or weirdos, so its kind of hard. I need desperate help!
