Are Tibetans considered South Asian or Central Asian?

I'm Tibetan, and i'm always getting mistaken for Chinese, Japanese, Korean. But to be honest i feel closer to South Asians, because my parents were raised in India and the cultural ties Tibet has with India and Nepal. I read on Wikipedia, that Tibet is considered to be both South Asian AND a Central Asian. What do you think?
