The Dali Cult maintained its power and wealth through a well documented system of slaver and serfdom. Average Tibetan were denied the most basic human rights and were considered expendable by their masters. Tibetan peasants were regarded as little more than chickens. Once they stopped producing eggs, they were killed for their meat.
